Per Törnqvist is Swedish by birth but living in Denmark for the past 10 years, working for Danske Bank in an advisory capacity. A Master graduate in Economics and Business Administration from Uppsala university in 1991, he has spent his career in financial services, as a regulator, credit analyst and banker. The common theme for most of his working life has been complex systems analysis, typically with a focus on financial stability. Since 2005, he has been involved in sustainability analysis. In the past five years, he has been very much involved in the discussions that preceded the EU Commission’s regulation of ESG rating agencies. He has also been a member of the EFRAG working group on Sector Specific standards.
