Preparers, users, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in EFRAG's upcoming virtual roundtable “Practical Considerations of Connecting Financial and Sustainability Reporting”, scheduled for 25 April 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.
As part of its ongoing research into the connectivity between financial and sustainability reporting, EFRAG is organising this online event for stakeholders to exchange views on the suitability of selected illustrations of connectivity drawn from company reports.
Roundtable participants will also have the opportunity to exchange insights on the practical challenges and benefits of achieving connectivity in practice.

EFRAG Connectivity Project Background
EFRAG introduced connectivity into its research workplan in 2022, as it is integral to enhancing corporate reporting. In 2023, EFRAG constituted a multi-stakeholder connectivity advisory panel (EFRAG CAP) to guide and provide input during the development of the project’s deliverables.
In June 2024, EFRAG published an interim deliverable, an initial paper Connectivity considerations and boundaries of different annual report sections, which laid out the conceptual foundations, categories, and benefits of connectivity. The paper also focussed on the dimensions of reporting boundaries (short version here).
A forthcoming Discussion Paper, expected in 2025, will build on this initial research and include practical illustrations of connectivity. Insights gathered from the roundtable will contribute to shaping the perspectives presented in the Discussion Paper.
