Harm van de Meerendonk is the Head of Group Consolidation and Reporting at NN Group, responsible for the financial, prudential, and aspects of sustainability reporting for NN Group, an insurance company listed in the Netherlands and active across Europe and Japan. He holds a university degree in Business Economics, is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA).

Harm began his career at (a predecessor of) PwC, where he spent ten years as an auditor in the financial industry. He then served as the Project Manager for IFRS implementation and later as the Head of Accounting and Regulatory Policies at ING Group.

From 2015 to 2022, Harm was a member of the Dutch Accounting Standards Board (DASB). Since 2002, he has contributed to the work of the European Insurance CFO Forum and has served on various committees of industry organisations in the field of financial reporting.

Harm brings extensive practical experience in external reporting for insurance companies and banks from his roles at NN Group and ING Group, as well as standard-setting expertise from his position at the Dutch Accounting Standards Board.
