EFRAG Renews the EFRAG SR TEG Composition

The EFRAG SRB approved the new composition of EFRAG SR TEG effective from 1 May 2025. Several current members have been reappointed and new experts have been included, ensuring balanced and comprehensive expertise across sectors and geographies.

New Appointments

The existing members Luca Bonaccorsi, Piotr Biernacki, Carlota de Paula Coelho, Anne-Claire Ducrocq, Luc Hendrickx, Luis Piacenza, Olivier Scherer and Per Tornqvist have been reappointed.

The renewed composition reflects EFRAG’s continued commitment to a multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary approach, supporting the development and implementation of robust European sustainability reporting standards.

Chiara Del Prete, EFRAG SR TEG Chair, stated: “We are pleased to welcome new experts from the ground, and at the same time to secure good continuity with the confirmation of many previous members that supported the work on ESRS implementation support so far. We highly appreciate the commitments of all EFRAG SR TEG members (existing, remaining and new joiners), as this is a highly demanding task, given the ambitions of our work plan, including ESRS simplification. I would like to express EFRAG’s gratitude to Philippe Diaz, Giulia Genuardi, Klaus Hufschlag, Antonino Vaccaro and Fiona Watson for their contribution and dedication.

EFRAG remains fully committed to reducing the reporting burden for companies while ensuring that the ESRS remain practical, effective, and proportionate.
